Pam has a twenty-year career shaping innovative, fast-paced creative environments. She served as Director of People & Culture at IDEO, an innovation and design consultancy, and Senior Vice President of Knowledge & Global Operations at Starcom MediaVest Group, the wildly successful start-up of The Leo Burnett Company. Pam’s defining traits are a relentless appetite for learning, passion for people, and joy in bringing new things to life.
Pam has spent the past two years working independently as a design entrepreneur, writer, and grad school student. She has a patent pending on a luggage design, Kickstarted a mini messenger bag made of cork, and is seeking a publisher for her book Designed to Thrive: How Montessori methods are transforming the workplace. In her spare time, you can find Pam onstage with her improv troupe, prototyping something in the workshop, or in a classroom working with kids.
Pam holds a BA from Tufts University and is earning a Master of Product Design & Development degree at Northwestern University. She has been a contributor to Northwestern University’s Master of Science in Learning and Organizational Change (MSLOC) program and a guest lecturer at The Kellogg School of Management.
